Theodore T. Sandberg graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1997. Ted was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1997 and admitted to the North Dakota Bar in 2009. He is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for North Dakota, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for North Dakota and in the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the North Dakota Bar Association, the Greater Grand Forks Bar Association and the North Dakota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Ted concentrates in the areas of criminal defense and civil litigation. Ted's depth of experience includes having conducted approximately 200 criminal jury trials, including over 25 Murder cases, over 25 AA-Felony level sex offenses and over 50 A-Felony level narcotics cases, assaults, DUI and DNA cases.
A unique feature of Ted's practice is Juvenile Law. Ted is a very rare juvenile court expert, representing clients in matters of juvenile deprivations, juvenile delinquency, unruly children, Court-ordered child permanency placements, foster care placements, and termination of parental rights.
Ted has been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers as one of the Top 100 Litigators and one of the Top 100 Criminal Lawyers in the country.
